Research from the Enterprise Research Centre has found that of the 709,174 net new jobs created between 2014-15, 23% of them came from London firms. As global giants Facebook and Google signal intent to grow their London offices, the capital is aiming to bear 2016’s job creation rate of 4% in 2017.
Let’s have a look at the in-demand sectors for contract jobs. London is predominantly hiring respectively in the Teaching and IT sectors with 4679 and 3084 jobs. The Trade and Construction and Accounting and Finance sectors follow in hiring for 2481 and 2164 positions respectively within London.
