Good news for graduate recruitment

Good news for graduate recruitment
The increase in salaries could be good news for start-up recruiters

An annual survey conducted by High Fliers Research has shown that leading UK employers expect to up their graduate recruitment by 6.4 per cent this year. Meanwhile, the Association for Graduate Recruiters has reported that starting salaries for graduates will rise by 6 per cent to £26,500.

While this is welcome news for university leavers, it must also be noted that competition for positions is fierce. Luckily for recruiters, new technology and increased use of social media has made the processing of such candidate numbers more manageable.

It is still a challenging task, however, and too much of an HR strain for many companies to handle in-house. Recruiters who set up their own recruitment consultancies with the help of Sonovate are helping to bear the load of this increase in graduate recruitment. With the cloud-based platform included in the Sonovate package, recruiters can judge the best combination of online and traditional recruitment channels, while Sonovate takes care of the administration behind the scenes.
