Recruitment moved fast. Finance didn’t.
Richard Prime and Damon Chapple founded Sonovate in 2011 after seeing the same constraint again and again: recruitment businesses had to pay contractors long before clients settled their invoices.
Traditional finance did not fit the rhythm of contract recruitment. Sonovate began by making funding work around the businesses using it. As customers grew, the challenge widened. Payments, timesheets, invoicing, credit control and reporting all had to work together if businesses were going to take on more work with confidence.
Today, Sonovate connects funding and operations in one platform for recruitment agencies, staffing platforms and consultancies. Richard and Damon remain involved as Co-founder CEOs.
